We are looking for a full-time Year 5 Teacher from January 2026 to complete a two term contract. We are looking for someone who thrives on building strong relationships with children, their families and staff members in order to make sure that pupils feel happy, safe and motivated when they come to school. This role will begin in January 2026 and continue until July 2026.

The School and Role

This small, Good primary school, based in Wisbech are looking to appoint a passionate Year 5 Teacher to work with a small class on a full time basis. Working in this primary school as part of an established team, you will be working in a settled class with around 24 children. This is a 2 term contract but could potentially become permanent.

Requirements

  • To hold qualified teacher status in the UK (QTS)
  • To have recent, relevant teaching experience
  • To be able to provide two recent references to support your teaching employment

The desired Teacher will have:

  • Experience of working with primary school aged children, preferably within key stage 2
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND
  • A passion for helping children reach their potential
  • An ability to work as part of a team
