Vision for Education are seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated Individual Needs Assistant to join a nurturing primary school in Ticehurst. This full-time role involves providing 1:1 and small-group support for two children in KS1, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and thrive in the classroom.
As an Individual Needs Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support, implement strategies, and create a positive, inclusive environment where both children feel valued, understood, and encouraged. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young learners and making a meaningful difference in their school experience.
Requirements
- Experience supporting children in a school or childcare setting (KS1 experience desirable)
- A nurturing, patient, and positive approach
- The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Confidence supporting children with additional needs
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
