The predicted salary is between 14.5 - 14.5 £ per hour.

SEN Teaching Assistant in Eastbourne, £14.24 - £14.50 per hour (salary is dependent on experience/qualifications), ASAP start. Day to Day supply (Long term positions also available).

The Role: We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic partner schools in Eastbourne. You’ll be working closely with children who have speech, language and communication needs, providing 1:1 support as well as small group assistance. Your role will be varied—whether it’s supporting in the classroom, creating a calm environment in quieter areas of the school, or helping children engage with daily routines. Most importantly, you’ll be empowering pupils to access their learning, build confidence, and feel included in school life.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 TA Qualification (Desirable but not essential)
  • ESSENTIAL: Valid driving license with access to own vehicle
  • Previous paid experience in child-based work
  • Experience working with children who have SEN
  • Have, or pay for an Enhanced DBS check and register on the Update Service
  • Be available to work during school times
  • Experience working in UK Schools (Desirable but not essential)
