A Learning Support Assistant is required in Angmering, West Sussex, with a salary of £14.24 - £14.50, depending on qualifications and experience. The position is available ASAP and ongoing.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and confident Learning Support Assistant who has a strong understanding of supporting pupils with autism and additional needs. You will play a vital role in providing 2:1 targeted support for a pupil with autism, helping them to regulate their emotions, engage with learning, and make meaningful progress both academically and socially.
Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and another experienced support professional, you will contribute to the planning and delivery of tailored strategies that support positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and access to the curriculum. Your experience will allow you to recognise triggers, implement effective interventions, and adapt your approach to meet the child’s individual needs.

Requirements
- Desirable: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
- Ideally have prior school experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, or challenging behavioural needs.
