The predicted salary is between 23000 - 27000 £ per year.

Location: Lymington (driving essential)

Working Hours: Full-time (8:30am – 3:30pm)

Pay: £20,974

Start Date: ASAP (temp to perm)

About the School & Role:

In this role you will be working as a Learning Support Assistant in a specialist setting, supporting children with moderate learning needs, including autism, in a structured and nurturing environment. The school provides personalised, inclusive education for pupils aged 7-16, with a strong focus on communication, independence and emotional wellbeing. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to deliver tailored learning activities, support pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis, and help implement individual education and behaviour plans.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Adapting resources to meet a range of needs
  • Using visual and sensory strategies
  • Supporting communication development
  • Assisting pupils with transitions throughout the day
  • Managing behaviour in a calm, consistent manner
  • Encouraging positive interactions
  • Providing emotional reassurance

You will play a key role in creating a safe and engaging environment where every child can learn and thrive.
