Vision for Education are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Preston, Lancashire to recruit a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Geography to start in September 2026. This long-term role is expected to continue for the full academic year and offers an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school.
This position will involve teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a successful secondary school environment. The school was rated “Good” in its latest Ofsted inspection and is recognised for its inclusive ethos, strong leadership and positive relationships between staff and students.
The successful Teacher of Geography will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching Geography at secondary level
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be committed to raising attainment and student progress
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative department
- Have a genuine passion for Geography and education
