As an Optometrist at Vision Express, you’ll work with advanced technology including automated refraction, non-contact tonometry, automated keratometry, fundus camera, visual field analyser, OCT and automated phoropters. Your passion for optometry will support our ambition to ‘See More, Be More’ for customers, maximizing their lifestyle through appropriate eyecare and eyewear solutions.
We are Vision Express, with over 550 stores across the UK and Ireland, part of the EssilorLuxottica family. This enables us to be home to loved vision care and eyewear brands while offering diverse store environments.
The role hours are flexible; we are open to discussing options to fit around your ideal working week.
Location: London, England, United Kingdom
Salary: Basic salary up to €82,000 (subject to experience and location) plus benefits.

Responsibilities
- Experience in testing patients’ eyes and eyesight while providing specialist recommendations on appropriate eyecare or eyewear solutions
- Great communication and rapport building to translate professional terminology into language understandable to patients
- Teamwork with colleagues across the whole store team
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations in a fast-paced retail environment
- Confidence, passion, drive and enthusiasm
Qualifications
- Qualified Optometrist with experience in clinical assessment and patient care
