What We're Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Experience working with databases or administrative systems
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Previous payroll experience is desirable but not essential
- Experience within a high-volume administration environment would be advantageous
About the Role:
As a Payroll Administrator, you'll support the accurate and timely processing of payroll for colleagues across the business. Responsibilities will include:
- Processing starters, leavers, and employee data changes
- Validating payroll information and identifying discrepancies
- Managing sickness, holiday, maternity and other employee payments
- Supporting payroll audits and compliance checks
- Responding to colleague and manager queries via phone and email
- Processing payroll-related paperwork and correspondence
- Assisting with payroll calculations, reporting and administration activities
- Supporting wider payroll projects and continuous improvement initiatives
