As a newly created position, you'll have the unique opportunity to help shape how the role evolves. You'll play a key role in bringing Reward initiatives to life for Vision Express, translating Group Reward programmes into solutions that support our colleagues and business objectives. Partner with Senior Stakeholders

Reward impacts every colleague across the business. You'll work with HR Business Partners, senior leaders and external benefit providers, providing insight and support on everything from pay reviews and benefits to reward communications and employee wellbeing. Your ability to communicate complex information clearly will help colleagues understand and maximise the value of their total reward package.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities, work to deadlines and maintain accuracy when handling complex reward and people data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to explain reward, pay and benefits information clearly and professionally to colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Strong analytical capability and confidence working with data, including the ability to use Excel to interpret information, identify trends and provide evidence‑based recommendations that support business decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, balancing both cyclical reward activities and ad‑hoc business priorities while maintaining a high standard of service and delivery.
  • Previous Reward, Compensation & Benefits or HR experience would be advantageous, particularly experience supporting pay reviews, benefits administration, benchmarking or employee‑related projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery and ongoing development of reward programmes and initiatives, helping to ensure our pay, benefits and recognition offerings remain engaging, competitive and aligned to business objectives.
  • Assist with job evaluation, salary benchmarking and pay analysis, using market data and internal insights to support fair, consistent and commercially sound reward decisions across the organisation.
  • Support the administration and communication of employee benefits, pensions and wellbeing initiatives, acting as a key point of contact for colleague queries and helping to drive awareness and engagement with our reward offering.
  • Contribute to annual pay review and bonus processes, supporting the preparation, validation and analysis of reward data while ensuring key activities are delivered accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Analyse reward and people‑related data to identify trends, provide insights and make recommendations, helping to inform decision‑making and ensure reward programmes remain competitive and effective.
