Role Overview: Part of the EMEA Indirect Procurement team (30 people, €1.5Bn spend), this role focuses on G&A categories (HR, Travel, Facility Management, Utilities, Professional Services) with a spend baseline of approx. €60M across UK/Ireland & Nordics. Reports to G&A UK/Ireland & Nordics Cluster Lead. Based within the retail legal entity Vision Express, the role is supporting the entire EssilorLuxottica scope (Retail, Wholesale, Operations, MedTec...).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement and identify synergies and efficiency opportunities across Retail (approx. 1,000 stores), Wholesale, and Operations entities to optimize contract performance through managing cost levers (pricing, demand, policy, value model, process, standardization) and stakeholder expectations.
- Deliver results on Indirect Procurement KPI (Savings, Cash, PO coverage, Contracts, Catalogues, GNFR, Vendor Reduction Program - 30% in 3 years).
- Lead RFI/RFP/RFQs via Ariba, through to implementation of contracts.
- Leverage your strategic procurement capabilities and comprehensive analysis to influence and drive key business decisions, providing essential support to the controlling function for cost analysis and the development of robust business case scenarios.
- Support integration and harmonization across Essilor, Luxottica, GrandVision and other entities.
Profile & Skills:
- Degree level, CIPS or equivalent.
- 3+ years in procurement/category management in a global, multi-country environment.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in G&A categories within Retail preferred.
- Fluent English; French or Italian desirable.
- MS Office proficiency; SAP/Ariba a plus.

- Skilled in tendering, contract management, and supplier base optimization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; SAP and Ariba desirable.
