We're looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our Lakeside store.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced retail leader or aspiring Assistant Store Manager ready to take the next step in their career within a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll support the Store Manager in leading the team, delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business performance.
You'll be confident managing people, understanding HR processes, and using KPIs to improve results.
What You'll Do
- Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching and developing colleagues
- Conduct regular 1:1s, coaching sessions and training
- Drive sales performance through effective KPI management
- Support recruitment, performance management and colleague engagement
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Maintain high standards of operational excellence and compliance
- Run the shop floor and lead the store in the Store Manager's absence
What We're Looking For
- Previous management or supervisory experience in retail
- Strong people leadership and coaching skills
- Experience managing performance and developing teams
- Understanding of HR processes
- Commercial awareness and confidence using KPIs to drive performance
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
- Full flexibility, including weekends and late‑night trading
