Overview
We’re looking for a GOC-registered Dispensing Optician to join Vision Express on a part-time basis (up to 3 days per week). You’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding customer care, offering expert advice, and ensuring the highest standards in dispensing. Working as part of a small, close-knit team, strong teamwork and communication skills are essential. If you’re passionate about eye care and thrive in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Although the hours of this role are advertised, we’re open to discussing flexible options to fit your ideal working week, such as hours around the school run or a compressed week.

Skills and Qualifications
- GOC-registered Dispensing Optician.
- Solution-focused with the ability to understand individual eyecare needs.
- Attention to detail with the ability to understand prescriptions and maintain records accurately.
- Excellent communication and the ability to support customers with their prescriptions.
- Knowledge of the latest optical trends and industry regulations.
- Knowledge of managing conditions such as dry eye and myopia may be beneficial.
- Strong work ethic with an understanding of how the role impacts team performance.
