An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Main Outpatients Department as a Receptionist within the Womens and Childrens Clinical Centre Directorate. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors attending various outpatient clinics, providing a warm, professional, and efficient reception service. Working closely with clinicians, nurses, and administrative colleagues, you will play a key role in managing patient queries and supporting appointment coordination. The role requires excellent organisational skills and a proactive, flexible approach to work. The post holder will report to the Admin Supervisor and is expected to uphold the Trusts values in every interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Effective delivery of reception duties.
- Input and maintenance of accurate patient information on Trust information systems.
- Provision of excellent customer service to members of the public and staff who visit or contact the Hospital.
- Contribution to positive patient experiences.
- Booking of appointments.
