Join our multidisciplinary team of skilled and motivated staff who provide a high quality of care to our patients, both NHS and private. We are committed to your professional development and will provide you with a range of education and in-house training and one-to-one coaching coordinated by a dedicated Education Team, Senior Nursing and Operating Department Team in a variety of Specialties.

  • Ear Nose and Throat (Including Robotics)
  • Breast Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery
  • Urology Open/Endoscopic/Laparoscopic (Including Robotics)
  • Orthopaedics
  • Neuro-Surgery

To be successful in this role you will possess a passion for excellence and improvement by training, coaching and supporting all staff within the operating department, providing support for staff undertaking academic study, providing expertise underpinned by theoretical knowledge, skill and practical experience, imparting specialist knowledge of clinical speciality. A HCPC or NMC registration without restrictions is also mandatory.

Be a professional role model, leading and coordinating the specialty team. Take continuing responsibility and accountability for the 24-hour management and organisation of the department. This involves managing a wide range of complex and sometimes conflicting priorities.

Provide specialist perioperative advice Trust wide to support and facilitate high quality, individualised care to patients/clients and relatives/carers in collaboration with the multi professional team, in line with the local and national targets.

Ensure that patient care remains the top priority at all times, placing their needs, safety and well-being at the centre of every decision and action. Maintain a flexible approach to clinical duties, adapting to changing needs and providing cover across specified areas as required to ensure seamless patient care.
