Your Role Includes

• Using static machinery, battery powered tools including drills and general hand tools
• Working in a safe manner, achieving a high level of quality
• Notifying the team leader of any shortages in regular materials used
• To complete projects successfully and follow instructions from your manager
• Work with other teams to minimize delays and meet high standards
• Assembling a full range of metalwork enclosure products manufactured by the company
• Some travel to work at client sites across the UK, to fit and install the products
• Liaising with the tradesman and contractors at client sites as required

What They Are Looking For

The ideal candidate should come from a strong mechanical background, preferably be familiar with working to very high standards in the aerospace, nuclear, medical, or pharmaceutical sectors.

• Essential to have previous mechanical assembly experience
• A City & Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent is ideal but not essential
• Will be required to travel to do ad-hoc installation work and will require a valid driver’s licence (company vehicle is supplied for work purposes)
• Experience in working with and understanding detailed drawings
• Previous experience of working to processes and defined quality systems
• Working to high levels of accuracy and standards of finish
• To be able to work independently and as part of a team
