Due to continued growth in our client portfolio, we are looking for an Administration Assistant to join our friendly team and provide support with office administration tasks, reception duties and social media activities. The successful candidate must be confident, independent and enthusiastic, and willing to dive headfirst into our busy practice. Contract: Permanent following a three month probation period.
Hours: 08:30 - 17:00 with a 30 minute lunch break. Part time hours can be offered for the right candidate.
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.

Role Description
The Administration Assistant will work closely with our Office Manager and wider team to deliver the highest level of service to our existing client base. This is a varied role, encompassing general reception and office administration duties as well as some social media activities. As the firm continues to grow, there will be opportunities to contribute to a wide range of projects. With structured growth and development plans in place, this role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and grow with the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the team to provide a high-quality, proactive administrative service.
- Act as the first point of contact for clients, both by telephone and in person.
- Meet and greet clients, prepare the meeting room and provide refreshments.
- Manage incoming post, client records, paperwork and electronic filing.
- Monitor and manage shared inboxes and calendars.
- Create and manage social media content for both companies.
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly client newsletter.
- Support a range of administrative projects and undertake additional duties as required.
Technical Requirements
- Excellent IT skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Good understanding of social media platforms and their use in business and brand awareness.
- Previous accounting experience is not essential; however, an understanding of business, or an interest in finance and/or the mortgage industry, would be advantageous.
