We are seeking x2 part time Warehouse Operatives to support our MicroMeasurements team. The purpose of these roles is to provide our business with operational support for the receiving and dispatch of goods, stock control, administration and general warehouse duties. Key Responsibilities- Checking and booking in of incoming shipments
- Placing stock in to correct locations
- Picking, Packing and Shipping
- Raising of Invoices and associated paperwork
- Handling Material returns and arranging collections
- Providing tracking numbers
- EHS Labelling of Dangerous Goods on receipt
- Weekly cyclical stock taking
- Mini Audits
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Packing of Bonding production items for dispatch
- Maintaining correct locations for Hire Stock inventory
- Data entry
- Handling and storing Proof of Deliveries
- Handling Certificates of Conformity and maintaining records
- Handling Customs enquiries and issues arising – Presenting invoices and shipping details
- Warehouse Housekeeping activities
- Above average levels of numeracy, literacy and IT
- Previous experience of working in a Warehousing and/or Logistics environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with the other Warehouse Operative
- High level of decision making skills and practical thinking
- Understanding of working with dangerous substances
- Knowledge of how to appropriately pack and store products
