The VISHAY Facility Maintenance Team adds value by ensuring and executing maintenance and repair assignments for the technical infrastructure used at site/plant. A job at this level performs a range of processes and related applications, prioritising work orders, adapting work schedules, selecting the most efficient tools or applications, and deciding cases or variations of procedures within given rules of operations.

What you will do

  • Ensure all machinery, panels and cabinets are well maintained. You will perform routine and non-routine maintenance on Chemical Dispensing Machinery and Spec Gas panels and cabinets on site.
  • Carry out routine PM’s on the assigned machinery.
  • Ensure gas and chemical supplies are always kept uninterrupted to prevent any tool downtime.
  • Support the fab in any issues regarding chemicals or gases.

What you will need

Essential

  • Experience and minimum BTEC level in an engineering related discipline.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Desire to learn & progress within chemical and gas maintenance.
  • Experience in working with pressurised pumps or systems.
  • Work without supervision.
  • Able to use own initiative and have a great work ethic.

Desirable

  • Chemical awareness and handling.
  • Cleanroom experience.
  • Comprehension of gas and chemical requirements.
  • IOSHH Training.
  • Technician or engineering background.

Working hours for this role are Sun, Mon, Tue on week one, and Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue on week two, 12 hrs shift 7am till 7pm.
