Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Sourcing & Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish strong relationships with new and existing suppliers to meet the company\’s needs for raw materials, components, and services.
  • Cost Optimization: Negotiate pricing and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement solutions without compromising quality. Continuously evaluate cost-saving opportunities and implement best practices for procurement efficiency.
  • Contract Management. Negotiate terms, manage requirements and contract renewals.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders to setup commercial deals to best suit business requirements.
  • Supplier Performance Management & Tracking: Monitor and assess supplier performance, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, quality, and cost efficiency. Work with suppliers to address any performance issues.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks such as Single Sourced, material shortages, supplier delays, or disruptions. Ensure continuity of supply to prevent production downtime.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality control, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement activities with production needs and overall business objectives.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all procurement transactions.

Qualifications

  • Education:

  • Bachelor\’s degree in Supply Chain / Procurement or similar business profession.

  • CIPS qualified is desired

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Semi-Conductor experience is a bonus.

  • Proven experience in negotiating with suppliers, managing Supplier relationships, and handling purchase orders.

  • Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory management techniques.
