Job Description

Build the future of payments with Visa Value-Added Services. Connect with future commercial opportunities across Acceptance, Issuing and Risk. We are looking for consultative sellers who can turn complex client challenges into measurable business value. Visa is continuing to grow its Value-Added Services (VAS) business across the UK & Ireland. We are interested in connecting with experienced professionals who want to help clients solve important challenges across payments, growth, customer experience, fraud and risk. This is a talent network rather than an application for one specific vacancy. By registering your interest, you can be considered for relevant future Commercial VAS opportunities across the UK & Ireland.

What you could be doing:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies across the UK & Ireland.
  • Building and managing a healthy pipeline of new-business and client-growth opportunities.
  • Leading complex, consultative sales cycles from opportunity identification through negotiation and close.
  • Understanding client challenges and translating them into clear solutions, value propositions and business cases.
  • Building trusted relationships with senior and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Working with Account Executives and relationship owners to identify and unlock opportunities within existing clients.
  • Collaborating with Product, Sales Engineering, Client Services and other teams to bring the right solution to the client.
  • Operating effectively across a matrixed, international organisation while maintaining strong forecasting and deal discipline.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

We are particularly interested in commercial professionals with strong B2B solution-selling experience and depth in one or more of the following areas:

  • Payments or fintech
  • Issuing, cards or issuer processing
  • Authentication and identity
  • Payment platforms or processing
  • Merchant acquiring and payment acceptance
  • Fraud prevention and payment risk
  • Banking or financial technology solutions
  • Enterprise SaaS relevant to financial services

You do not need experience across every area of VAS. Depth in one relevant domain, combined with a strong commercial track record and the ability to learn, can be highly relevant.

The experience that will help you succeed:

  • A strong record in B2B sales, business development or specialist solution sales.
  • Experience owning, or materially contributing to, revenue and sales targets.
  • Confidence generating pipeline, prospecting and developing opportunities.
  • Experience managing long, complex and multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Consultative discovery skills and the ability to uncover the client’s underlying business problem.
  • Strong commercial acumen, value-based selling and negotiation capability.
  • Credibility with senior and C-suite stakeholders.
  • The ability to navigate relationship ownership and influence internal stakeholders without direct authority.
  • The ability to translate complex products or technology into a clear commercial story and measurable client value.
