As the Technical Product Manager, you will lead the development and maintenance of our core systems responsible for the developer platform and other key components. You will serve as a primary point of contact from the product team, collaborating with various stakeholders from technology and development teams. The Developer Experience team plays a pivotal role in managing the systems that enable VXBS to develop and deploy software securely and efficiently at scale. You will be tasked with developing tools to optimise our developer experience systems. You will ensure the implementation and updating of systems to enable the developer experience team to meet its obligations as VXBS expands into new markets and products. You will support teams through new implementations, including providing training if necessary. This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties to be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban, and the ability to work across 1-2 teams.
- Capability to define a product backlog using standard categories such as epics and user stories, along with experience making tough trade-offs and prioritisation decisions.
- Experience in crafting a vision for your product based on customer discovery, market research, data analysis, etc.
- Knowledge and interest in AWS tools and technologies, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools and techniques, Infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation, and Cloud Native practices.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and data science, to define and prioritise technical product requirements and features and maintain a technical product roadmap.
- Conducting technical research and analysis to identify emerging technologies and industry trends that can enhance product functionality and performance.
- Acting as a subject matter expert on technical aspects of the product, providing guidance and support to stakeholders and customers.
- Working with product marketing and sales teams to develop technical product documentation, training materials, and sales collateral.
- Collaborating with delivery managers and engineering teams to facilitate cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment and successful communication across teams.
- Communicating technical requirements and constraints to non-technical stakeholders and facilitating communication and coordination between technical and non-technical teams.
- Monitoring and analysing technical product metrics and data to identify areas for improvement and optimise product performance.
- Remaining up-to-date with advancements in technology and industry best practices and bringing innovative ideas and solutions to the product roadmap.
