Job Description
- Work closely with the Visa Benefits team to help shape the retirement landscape across the whole of the Visa Europe region , you will be responsible for the design and strategy of all retirement plans across 29 geographies.
- The UK is the Europe Hub location and has significant DB & DC plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for all interactions with the Trustees of the plan, administrators and employees. You will be expected to help shape and deliver the employee experience, with a progressive mandate offering low cost, high performing investment choices alongside more traditional offerings. The ideal candidate will be familiar with DB plan end game and be responsible for shaping the strategy for the Defined Benefit plans, with a potential buy in or buy out within the next 10 years.
- The candidate is expected to have a good understanding of the pension legislation with a focus on the UK and be aware of the landscape more broadly across the European region.
- Build and optimise the working relationship with all the plan advisors to deliver an efficient process to administer all the plans and whilst controlling risk.
- Effectively communicate pension and retirement benefit information to relevant target audiences to promote engagement and understanding of retirement planning
- Review and, where appropriate, , improve and enhance pension schemes in line with current and future market trends and business proposition
- Engage with internal/external stakeholders as required to deliver high class retirement benefits to employees
- Oversee management outsourced Pension Administrator and other vendors and providers
- Remain up-to-date with constantly changing pensions landscapes across all geographies and educate/inform senior leaders and employees of important changes
- Ensure pension arrangements meet agreed quality, performance and employee care standards
- Resolve complex pensions issues
- Manage monthly administration issues related to all pension plans
- Project manage and assist with the production of literature to satisfy legal requirements for scheme members e.g. annual report and accounts, annual benefit statements
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
- Background in pensions and retirement benefits, either in an internal or consultancy role
- Extensive experience of pension and retirement benefit strategies in the United Kingdom
- Sound knowledge of pension legislation and policy, keeping abreast of changes to the pensions landscape across different countries as appropriate
- Vendor management
- Project management
- Knowledge of international pension arrangements advantageous
- Ability to engage with senior leaders through strong interpersonal skills
- Highly numerical and competent with Excel and presenting data
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage work effectively
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong team player able to help educate and influence within the Europe Benefits Team
- Experience of using Workday HRIS advantageous
