Overview

Visa is searching for the Senior Director for Product Development & Management, Account & Wallet Payouts within Visa Direct. This leader drives efficiency and growth in Visa Direct with end-to-end ownership of product development and management, including identifying and prioritizing ideas, discovery, inception, implementation, product launch, post-launch enhancements, pivots, and sunsetting products and features. They set the vision, strategy, and manage the roadmap and backlog for their product, establishing Visa as a trend setter in the real-time payment industry. This role can have product leaders and product managers reporting to them. To deliver on these objectives, this role requires deep collaboration across the enterprise with internal and external stakeholders including technology, sales and account management, solutioning, operations, compliance, and other teams across Visa, as well as external vendors, industry groups, and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities
  • Stay up to speed with the latest developments and trends in the payment industry and identify emerging opportunities and threats for Visa Direct. Stay up to date and informed on latest developments in client fund management and safeguarding techniques, payment-related liquidity management and optimization.
  • Define and manage the product roadmap based on market trends, input from stakeholders across the business, and the overarching company strategy and product vision.
  • Oversee new product and feature implementation, working with technology, sales and account management, operations, risk and other functions, direct and unblock product leaders and managers.
  • Define and monitor metrics for the solutions launched, drive continuous improvement and enhancement of products and features.
  • Lead, mentor, and provide direction to the team of product leaders and managers, and cross-functional teams as appropriate, with the right resources, tools, and proper guidance for success.
  • Communicate and showcase the team\'s achievements, learnings, and best practices to internal and external audiences.
  • Champion Visa values across the organization. Act as an ambassador to attract world-class and diverse talent in the market, whilst developing internal talent that will help Visa to thrive.
  • This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Foster an inclusive team culture that is collaborative and inquisitive, developing bench strength and planning for succession while able to make tough decisions when required.
  • Influence and Relationship Building: Exhibit leadership behaviors in team management and internal interactions with peers, senior management, clients, and third-party vendors. Work effectively across a global matrix organization.

Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will bring experience in product development/management with a track record of developing and improving products in a large and complex organization, preferably in payments or financial services.
  • Natural collaborator with excellent communication skills and strong executive presence. Disciplined in prioritization, able to execute and commercially driven. Comfortable with ambiguity, with the maturity and capability to interact and influence across multiple levels of the organization, internal and external, to Visa.
  • Functional product experience with a mature understanding of payment and associated liquidity management systems, value-added services, product lifecycle strategies, design, and execution. Technical in nature with the ability to understand and shape details as well as set an overarching direction.
  • Highly competent and influential in communication, liaising with various stakeholders both internally and externally.
