Job Description
- Overall responsibility for GTM strategy, solution management and commercialisation of the ‘Credit and Consumer Solutions’ portfolio for the UK & Ireland markets; Credit and Core solutions (credit proposition, instalments, debit and prepaid), Everyday Payment solutions (Visa Issuer APIs and Partner-based solutions for consumer proposition), Premium and HNW solutions, and deployment across clients: issuers, fintechs, agents and processors.
- Lead a team of Product managers that will act as both the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Specialised Sales across Visa’s Credit and Consumer Solutions, ensuring client-facing teams have the knowledge, collateral and support they need to rapidly grow product penetration and revenue.
- Responsible for the mid and long term commercialisation (P&L, revenues direct and indirect) for all Credit and Consumer solutions in UK & I, including existing solutions and those in early ideation and concept stages, and work closely with the Value-Added-Services (VAS) organisation to propose end-to-end solutions to clients.
- Drive critical client engagements at both senior and working-team levels across the sales and commercialisation cycle of the various solutions, and actively manage pipeline of sales opportunities across clients types and against annual P&L targets.
- Contribute to Visa 2030 strategy through specific client-led sprints to actively provide feedback and requirement into the Regional/Global product roadmaps.
- Provide regular updates and reporting to leadership levels of Visa management on key metrics and objectives.
- People are a critical resource at Visa. Actively manage the team, help prioritise activities and opportunities, while providing mentoring and coaching to direct reports.
Qualifications
What we’re after…
- We are looking for a seasoned Product leader with Credit/Lending experience in technology or financial services roles.
- Deep background in an issuing institution managing and growing credit portfolios, understanding of lending value-chain, capabilities required to underwrite and manage credit/consumer loans end to end.
- Industry knowledge of BNPL and solution vendors is nice to have.
- Curious and inquisitive problem solver – thrives in difficult and big problem spaces.
- Rigorous thinker, ability to transpose business, financial and technical understanding to relevant market inputs.
- Deep understanding of how to scale and distribute products/services within a technology company.
- Ownership and driving impact are important aspects to the role.
- Strong ability to progress solutions and enhancements with urgency and prioritised focus for commercial and strategic benefits for our customers and Visa.
