The Network Integrations Team for Accounts in Visa Direct is responsible for the seamless integration of Visa Direct services with various financial institutions and payment network partners. We enable cross-border payments across the world ensuring that Visa Direct’s capabilities are effectively deployed, maintained, and optimized to facilitate quick, secure and reliable transactions.
This is a Senior Business Analyst role focusing on supporting and completing key service integration activities, gathering and interpreting business requirements and identifying and building improvements to Visa’s cross border network offering.
What we may expect of you, day to day.

Review technical specification documents provided by Network Partners to define field mapping, technical connectivity and security requirements and ensure design is compliant with regulatory and security policies and agreed Network integration standards.

Be a key voice in shaping and maintaining best practices for our Payments Network, including payload design, logical data modelling, implementation, metadata, and testing guidelines.

Business analysis for development of robust data models downstream of backend services, to support Network Partner onboarding, internal reporting, machine learning, large language models, as well as Payment metadata and Validation use cases.

Lead best practice analysis of payment message specifications, rules, payment data mapping, behaviours and capabilities across multiple payment schemes and financial institutions.

Collaboratively set standards and work with data across Visa, fostering knowledge sharing and continuously improving data practices.

Gather and refine requirements for Payment Network partner integrations based on specific network partner considerations and client demand by creating, and leveraging templates to standardise the Network Platform, including Partner Network UI/UX Platform

Conduct user research to gather insights on user behaviour and preferences in relation to Payments Network frontend platform usability and user experience.

Enhance Network Platform to sustain standardised API services, including connectivity, validations, field mapping, and new Network Product components where relevant.

Attend workshops with Network Partners, Operations, Technology, and other relevant stakeholders within the payments product chain.

Present complex and critical network feature demos to relevant stakeholders.

Participate in Agile / Scaled Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint demos.

Support product owners with backlog grooming and refinement.

Provide guidance and functional support to Business Analysts to help grow their knowledge and enable their development.

Senior Integration Analyst / Senior Business Analyst experience across multiple project types and involvement in several business ventures preferably in the fintech / payments industry.

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of European payment standards, schema rules, payment processing technologies and regulations.

Previous experience in Business / Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance

Experience managing and supporting junior team-members

History of working closely and effectively with diverse teams to elicit requirements from stakeholders.

Demonstrable experience (2-5 Years) in the payments industry, specifically in cross border payments, with a good understanding of SWIFT and ISO20022, message standards, ACH payments, global instant payments schemes, including SEPA SCT, SEPA Instant etc.

Proven experience working in an Agile methodology environment (e.g. SCRUM, DSDM, Lean/Kanban) and ideally scaled agile methodology

Experience of dealing with high complexity projects and involving multiple stakeholders.

Good technical understanding of web applications and APIs including swagger, XML, JSON schemas.

Knowledge of cross-border payment regulations

Great intellectual agility and attention to detail.

Experience with Jira Confluence tool

Ability to work under pressure, both in terms of deliverable deadlines, but also in terms of communication with managers and resources under difficult situations and deadlines

Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, senior managers and all Visa Payments Limited staff using collaborative approach
