Global Responsible Sourcing
Are you passionate about Sustainability? We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and results-driven Global Sustainability and Inclusion Manager to join the Visa Global Responsible Sourcing team. This is an exciting opportunity to help Visa ensure our suppliers, stakeholders and sourcing teams work towards a more sustainable future.
As the Global Responsible Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the Global Responsible Sourcing programme. Your role will involve supporting the execution of our global strategy, managing and delivering global strategic projects, data analysis and reporting, stakeholder engagement and business partnering to support client RFP responses from a sustainability perspective. You will be responsible for how stakeholders and suppliers interact with Visa and for helping build the Global Responsible Sourcing programme.
Main Accountabilities
- Support the Senior Global Responsible Sourcing Manager on execution of the Global Responsible Sourcing Strategy.
- Build and manage short and long-term global programme plans, holding all stakeholders accountable to delivery of the project plan.
- Support the identification, project management and execution of annual global strategic initiatives that contribute towards Visa's commitments and programme goals.
- Support the preparation and provide analysis of internal programme performance reports to various stakeholders and forums.
- Partner with global and regional Sourcing, Business Function and Supplier leads to track the delivery of strategic initiatives.
- Partner with suppliers to identify strategic projects that contribute towards the delivery of Visa's global sustainability objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders in line with Visa's Supplier Code of Conduct and Golden Rules of Sourcing.
- Support all Visa client RFPs with any sustainability questions on Visa 3rd party suppliers.
- Deliver regular reporting on progress of objectives set on all projects to deliver the Global Programme.
- Utilise technologies (e.g., EcoVadis, Watershed, Supplier IO and Tealbook) to prioritise, deliver, track and report on initiatives.
- Develop and deliver training materials on Responsible Sourcing topics (e.g., Scope 3.1 Carbon Emissions, supplier inclusion and supply chain risk).
General Key Responsibilities
- Understand Business and client priorities in Responsible Sourcing.
- Represent Visa at sustainability events and webinars.
- Drive supplier engagement and establish partnerships.
- Ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and effective stakeholder communication.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing initiatives within Visa.
- Support Sourcing and programme events that promote Sustainability and Suppliers.
- Identify and deliver process efficiencies and continuous improvements to make the programme more effective.
- Monitor Supply Chain regulations, trends and competitor activities and provide recommendations for the programme to deliver optimal value.
- Grow external Supply Chain expertise, attending forums and using available resources and insights.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications
- Educated to degree level with Sustainability or Business and Supply Chain accreditation.
- Minimum 5-years' experience in Sustainability, Procurement and/or Supply Chain.
- Experience in Programme Management.
- Advanced Project Management, Supplier Relationship management and Supply Chain Management technical and analytical skills.
- Broad experience in Carbon Emissions, Supply Chain Risk Management, Supplier Diversity and Sustainability Regulations and reporting.
- Knowledge and experience of Sustainability technology platforms to manage carbon emissions, supplier diversity and supply chain risk (e.g. EcoVadis, Watershed).
- Leadership skills with experience in delivering large and complex projects/programmes.
