We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the Wallets team for Visa Direct. In this role, you will own the product area end-to-end, including vision, roadmap, execution, and post-launch outcomes for customer balance and ledger capabilities. You will be responsible for ensuring product hypotheses translate into measurable outcomes, balancing customer experience, risk mitigation, and commercial impact. This role requires strong judgment to clarify underlying problems, prioritize effectively, and drive high-quality delivery across cross-functional teams. You will partner closely with engineering, data science, security, compliance, operations, sales, and go-to-market teams to deliver scalable, intelligence-led solutions that ship and deliver value. This role is a hybrid position, based out of our London Paddington office, with three days per week in office (Tuesday–Thursday).
Key Responsibilities
- Product Vision, Strategy & Problem Identification: Own and articulate a clear product vision and roadmap for customer balance and ledger capabilities, aligned with Visa Direct strategy. Clarify and frame underlying customer and business problems, ensuring features address real needs and drive measurable impact. Drive evidence-based product discovery using customer, market, regulatory, and threat intelligence to validate priorities. Continuously refine roadmap priorities based on adoption signals, performance data, and evolving risks.
- Customer Centricity & Experience: Design ledger capabilities that balance customer experience, risk prevention, and usability at scale. Partner with customers and internal teams to build a deep understanding of workflows, pain points, and risk tolerance. Advocate for customer outcomes in prioritization and trade-off decisions, ensuring solutions solve the right problems.
- Solution & Delivery Experience: Translate product strategy into clear, actionable product plans, requirements, and success metrics defined pre-build. Lead end-to-end delivery across teams, ensuring high-quality execution, roadmap sequencing, and predictable releases. Build cross-functional alignment and drive focus on outcomes, ensuring features ship and deliver value. Own post-launch performance, monitoring adoption, identifying friction, and partnering with teams to resolve bottlenecks.
- Data, AI & Technical Fluency: Leverage data, analytics, and AI/ML to inform prioritization, decision-making, and performance tracking. Ensure responsible and compliant use of AI in collaboration with risk, legal, and compliance teams.
- Go-to-Market & Business Impact: Partner with go-to-market and sales teams to position capabilities and articulate value propositions. Contribute to enablement and launch planning to support adoption and customer understanding. Frame product decisions using business cases and measurable outcomes (risk reduction, efficiency, trust, growth).
- Stakeholder Leadership & Collaboration: Build strong alignment across engineering, compliance, security, operations, and commercial teams. Influence decision-making within scope using data, judgment, and structured problem-solving frameworks. Communicate complex technical and risk concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders. Enable faster decision-making by creating clarity, transparency, and shared understanding across teams.
- Resolving Trade-offs & Execution Discipline: Evaluate and make trade-offs quickly within scope using data and judgment. Identify risks and delivery issues early and take action to mitigate blockers. Balance competing priorities (customer, risk, commercial) to drive optimal outcomes.
- Team Contribution & Product Craft: Actively contribute to team performance, product quality, and continuous improvement practices. Coach peers and analysts on product execution and best practices. Champion strong product discipline, including structured discovery, delivery rigor, and outcome tracking.
