Job Description
Reporting to the Director, Sponsorship Marketing, the Manager, Sponsorship Marketing will support the day-to-day management and activation of a key entertainment-focused partnership.
Sponsorships play a central role in Visa's European marketing strategy, enabling us to drive client engagement, strengthen our brand and create meaningful consumer experiences through shared passion points.
The role will work closely with internal marketing teams, external agencies and the partner to support the planning, execution and optimisation of partnership marketing activity across Europe.
The successful candidate will help ensure the partnership delivers value for Visa, our clients and our partner through effective activation, stakeholder engagement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Activation & Delivery
- Support the planning and execution of partnership marketing programmes across Europe.
- Coordinate activation plans with local market teams to ensure effective and compliant use of partnership rights.
- Assist in delivering brand and client marketing campaigns leveraging partnership assets and intellectual property.
- Support key campaign launches, events and promotional activities throughout the year.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key day-to-day liaison between Visa, agencies and the partner on marketing-related activities.
- Build strong working relationships across Visa's Brand Marketing, Client Marketing, Merchant and Employee Engagement teams.
- Respond to stakeholder requests and provide guidance on partnership opportunities, rights and assets.
- Asset & Resource Management
- Support the creation and maintenance of activation toolkits, guidelines and marketing resources for local markets.
- Coordinate the approval process for marketing materials and campaigns involving partnership assets.
- Ensure partnership assets are managed and distributed effectively across relevant stakeholders.
- Hospitality & Inventory Management
- Manage the tracking and allocation of hospitality assets associated with the partnership.
- Work closely with agency partners to support fulfilment, inventory management and reporting processes.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure efficient utilisation of partnership benefits.
- Employee Engagement
- Support initiatives designed to increase employee awareness and engagement with the partnership.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote key moments, experiences and opportunities associated with the partnership.
- Budget & Reporting
- Assist with budget tracking and financial administration associated with partnership activities.
- Support reporting processes and measurement of partnership activation performance and outcomes.
- Maintain project plans, status updates and operational documentation as required.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
- Experience in marketing, sponsorship, partnership marketing or a related field.
- Experience supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns, activations or sponsorships.
- Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with agencies, vendors or external partners.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across a matrix organisation.
