Senior Manager – Financial Intelligence Unit, also the Nominated Officer for Visa Payments Limited (VPL), is the individual nominated to receive disclosures under Part 3 (terrorist property) of the Terrorism Act 2000 or Part 7 (money laundering) of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. This role discharges responsibilities as delegated by VPL’s Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO). It is pivotal, reporting into Visa Direct’s Group MLRO, and has responsibility for the Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) regime and the FIU team at VPL.
