Job Description
Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) is seeking an experienced Senior B2B Events Marketing Manager to drive impactful event programming across Europe that aligns with VCS business priorities. This role requires a customer‑centric focus and a strategic mindset in developing and executing B2B event programming for VCS that supports commercial priorities, fosters brand engagement, and generates business opportunities. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of collaborating with key internal stakeholders to produce events aligned to strategic objectives and measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Event Programming: Develop, plan, and execute B2B event programming for VCS proprietary, client, and industry events, ensuring alignment with sales, marketing, product, and communication priorities.
- Cross‑Functional & Regional Collaboration: Partner with VCS stakeholders across functions, including sales, product, marketing, communications, leadership, and regional teams, to define event objectives, messaging, and target audiences.
- Content Development: Alongside communications and subject matter experts, curate compelling content and engagement formats that deliver value to attendees and drive engagement.
- Lead Generation: Design B2B event experiences that maximize lead capture, nurture, and conversion opportunities for VCS sales teams.
- Performance Measurement: Establish KPIs and measure event performance, providing post‑event analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Project Management: Drive workstreams to ensure projects stay on track, adapting and consulting with leadership as required.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Manage relationships with event organizers, partners, and vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure events reflect Visa's brand playbook, maintaining consistency across regions and event types.
- Budget Management: Oversee workstream budgets, negotiate contracts.
- Market Trends: Stay informed on global event trends, technologies, and best practices, applying innovative solutions to enhance event impact.

- Must be able to support domestic and international event programmes across Europe, as required. The role requires regional travel, typically up to five business days per month, and from time to time overtime and weekend work.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
- Experience in B2B event program development, production, operations, budgeting, and measurement.
- Proven track record of planning and executing creative, engaging B2B events that drive business outcomes.
- Strong tradeshow/exhibition management experience, including partnering with product, innovation and marketing teams in creating impactful experiences that drive audience engagement.
- Strong stakeholder and executive management in global, matrixed organisations.
- Experience in managing lead generation and capture, data and CRM management.
- Familiarity with event marketing and sales CRM systems, such as MS Dynamics, Salesforce, Eloqua, Marketo, Cvent, Swoogo.
