Overview
In this role you will lead AI-driven product and experience design engagements for Visa clients in Europe, shaping future-state AI-enabled journeys. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into compelling product concepts and proof-of-concept experiences. You’ll design conversational and agentic experiences, balancing automation with user control, while guiding clients from discovery through implementation. This is a hands-on, strategy-driven design consulting position that blends human-centered design with AI innovation to create meaningful customer value.
Responsibilities
- Lead client engagements to identify, prioritise and design AI-powered products, services and experiences from discovery to delivery
- Apply human-centred design, product strategy and service design methods to AI-enabled and traditional digital products
- Translate emerging technologies and insights into future-state product concepts
- Design conversational and AI-enabled experiences, including human-AI workflows and trust mechanisms
- Create journeys, blueprints, prototypes and artefacts to communicate and validate concepts
- Lead workshops and research activities to uncover user needs and align stakeholders
- Ensure responsible, accessible and trustworthy AI experiences aligned to governance considerations
- Present design recommendations to practitioners and senior executives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop desirable, feasible and viable solutions
- Provide design direction and quality oversight while shaping key deliverables and client outcomes
- Contribute to PxD's AI consultancy offerings, methods and thought leadership
Key requirements
- 6+ years in product UX or related design disciplines with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience designing digital products and services including generative/conversational AI and AI copilots
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects with senior stakeholders
- Portfolio of AI product design work including AI-enabled, conversational or intelligent experiences
- Experience supporting AI opportunity discovery, product strategy or innovation programmes
- Experience facilitating workshops or innovation activities
- Curious, strategic and hands-on
- Strong communication, facilitation and storytelling
- Confident with clients and senior stakeholders
