The B2B Acceptance team has the responsibility for defining and executing the global B2B product vision for Visa's commercial merchant solutions. This includes developing services and capabilities that reduce friction in the payment process while offering an economic model where cost is commensurate with the value.

We are responsible for the development and commercialization of new and enhanced products and services, research and thought leadership, and product engagement with our issuing & acquiring partners. The team serves financial institutions, processors, Fintech partnerships, and their downstream clients. We work collaboratively with Visa’s Merchant Services Accounts, B2B Partnerships and Commercial Sales organizations around the globe.

The Director, Product Management is responsible for the full product lifecycle of B2B product strategy in the Asia Pacific region. This includes leading and contributing to the vision, roadmap, assets, and solution designs that serve the needs of our clients and their large and middle market corporates. This role requires a strong sense of ownership, skillful problem solving and covers great breadth, as you will work in close collaboration with regional counterparts taking new solutions from vision to launch.

This role requires strong thought leadership, influencing and analytical skills, as well as some technical product experience with acquiring. Diplomacy to manage collaborative relationships and expectations, while ensuring a strong global approach and alignment, is critical to succeeding in this role. In addition to product management experience, this role requires deep expertise in commercial payments, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable practices. Experience with network, issuer, processor or expense management software partners is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • The role of Director, Product Management will be a key member of the B2B Acceptance Products & Solutions team and will manage the day-to-day activities, define & prioritize enhancements in addition to ideate and develop new offerings.
  • Help drive payment volume growth and virtual card acceptance through products and solutions while maximizing retention in all channels, including direct (e.g. issuers, acquirers & merchants) as well as indirect (e.g. via resellers and partners).
  • Manage products through the full product lifecycle from concept to end of life and through key commercialization phases: Pilot, Beta, Generally Available, End of Life.
  • Evaluate and analyze internal & external data sources including Voice-of-Customer to identify potential product enhancement opportunities.
  • Develop and write detailed product requirements for key enhancements to the system.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the product roadmap in support of the broader B2B Acceptance vision.
  • Ensure all internal and external controls are met before launching new products.
  • Pro-actively seek data and input, and review product feedback and bugs raised by customers and internal teams, triage and prioritize as appropriate within the roadmap.
  • Evangelize and demonstrate products to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage with prospects, clients and partners in support of global regions and commercialization activities, keeping an “outside in” perspective at all times.
  • Monitor product performance, enhance KPI dashboards, derive intelligence to ensure data driven decision making.
  • Provide education and training to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of sales enablement assets for all internal and reseller partner sales teams in partnership with marketing.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

  • Experience selling payment product and solutions for B2B Payment Acceptance with large strategic suppliers.
  • Proven experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or merchant services.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to articulate the value that products and solutions bring for working capital benefits to large corporates and banking partners.
  • Self-starter with a track record of building and executing go-to-market strategies.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and networking skills across supplier and buyer ecosystems.
  • Experience navigating complex onboarding processes and working with acquirers or reseller channels.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
