Role Summary
The Business Development Analyst will support the growth of Visa Direct across the UK & Ireland, with a primary focus on expanding the FX Brokers segment and leading proactive, data‑driven sales campaigns across priority industry verticals. The role will work cross‑functionally with all Business Development teams covering FX Brokers & Platforms, Non‑Bank Financial Institutions (Fintechs), and Banks (Financial Institutions & Insurance). We seek a candidate committed to a career in Sales within Visa, who has strong communication skills and can quickly pick up relevant product knowledge. This entry‑level / early‑career role is designed for a commercially minded analyst who combines strong analytical capability with excellent communication skills, market research, and campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Market & Commercial Analysis: Conduct market research and data analysis to identify growth opportunities within the FX Brokers ecosystem, including broker models, corridors, use cases, and competitive dynamics. Analyse transaction data, pipeline data, and market trends to support opportunity sizing, prioritisation, and targeting. Develop insights on industry verticals relevant to Visa Direct (e.g., FX Brokers, Fintechs, Platforms, Banks, Insurance) to inform go‑to‑market strategies.
- Sales Enablement & Campaign Execution: Support the design and execution of proactive outbound sales campaigns targeting priority verticals and client segments. Build target lists, prepare account and prospect profiles, and support outreach strategies in partnership with Business Development leads. Track campaign performance, maintain dashboards, and provide regular reporting on pipeline creation, conversion, and commercial outcomes.
- Cross‑Team Collaboration: Work closely with Business Development teams across FX Brokers & Platforms, Non‑Bank FIs (Fintechs), and Banks to ensure alignment on priorities and coordinated market coverage. Support cross‑team initiatives, including shared campaigns, joint account planning, and multi‑vertical opportunities. Act as a central point of coordination for analytical requests, campaign insights, and market intelligence across the UK&I BD organisation.
- Client & Partner Support: Assist with preparation for client meetings, including materials, data packs, value propositions, and use‑case narratives. Support responses to inbound opportunities, RFPs, and ad‑hoc client queries related to Visa Direct capabilities. Help maintain CRM hygiene, pipeline updates, and documentation of opportunities and client interactions.
- Strategic Projects: Contribute to strategic initiatives related to Visa Direct growth in the UK&I region, including new use cases, corridor expansion, and partner‑led opportunities. Support the development of internal business cases, presentations, and performance reviews for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, economics, data, or a related field. High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; comfort working with CRM systems and dashboards. Interest in payments, FX, financial services, or fintech ecosystems. Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritise effectively, and work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. Confident with speaking to senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Preferred: Exposure to financial services, payments, FX, fintech, or B2B sales environments (through internships, placements, or prior roles). Experience supporting sales campaigns, market analysis, or business development initiatives. Strong working knowledge of Visa Direct products, use cases, and value propositions is a significant advantage and will be considered a standout qualification. Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or basic SQL is an advantage.
