Overview
In this leadership role you shape the Visa Rules Self-Assessment (VRSA) program, aligning governance and risk objectives with Visa’s business and ecosystem strategy. You’ll drive strategy, roadmaps, and executive communications to enable scalable, automated, data‑driven improvements. You partner with senior stakeholders, rule owners, and cross‑functional teams to deliver process excellence and automation readiness that strengthens rule enforcement. This position blends governance, operational transformation, and people leadership to advance Visa’s risk program maturity.
Responsibilities
- Define strategy, outcomes, and roadmap for VRSA in collaboration with Senior Director
- Socialize alignment and drive end‑to‑end VRSA execution with executive readouts
- Serve as liaison among senior stakeholders, rule owners, and leadership; manage trade-offs and escalations
- Develop executive insights on VRSA results, trends, and automation/readiness impacts
- Lead continuous process improvement for VRSA, Rules Inquiries, and related EPTA workflows
- Support automation/AI initiative enablement and ensure governance alignment for BAU transition
Key requirements
- 10 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 8 years with an Advanced degree
- Proven leadership of high-performing teams with coaching and performance management
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication tailored to audiences
- Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making for transformation
- Experience leading cross-functional business transformation and operating model improvements
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments across regions
- Experience gathering business requirements and delivering successful outcomes
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Visa knowledge or payment solutions industry experience is highly desired
