Job Description

The Visa Issuer Enabler team is seeking a director for a newly created role within the team. The candidate will be joining the team at an exciting time, with the team already working with leading issuer processor, program manager and tech enabler partners in Europe and now expanding to work with ACS / 3DS providers in Europe. The preferred candidate will be responsible for building and executing the strategy with this enabler vertical. We're seeking someone who can provide the ability to build and form effective working relationships, problem solving skills, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, attention to detail, is results oriented and is a creative thinker. This individual will play a critical role supporting VISA’s enabler strategy in Europe and help to drive revenue acceleration.

Responsibilities

  • Establish relationships with leading 3DS / ACS providers in Europe.
  • Evaluate preferred and non-preferred partners platform to best understand capabilities, identifying a pipeline to begin engagement and execute agreed opportunities to partner.
  • Maintain up to date product functionality/product capability metrics for preferred partners.
  • Be the Product SME and support on-site sales/educational pitches.
  • Partner with Visa product organization to identify and synthesize Visa products relevant to the enabler landscape with specific focus on 3DS / ACS relevant products and drive subsequent implementation.
  • Build, support and drive the product educational process for enablers including educational content and 1 to 1 engagements.
  • Collaborate with Product to define and identify new product opportunities and close market gaps – relevant to 3DS / ACS partners but also across enabler verticals.
  • Deliver product and competitor information to drive and support product development and innovation strategies.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of Visa products and services.
  • Identify and highlight key partnership opportunities across the processing industry.
  • Recommend changes to current sales techniques, procedures or promotional efforts based on market research and new trends.
  • Drive adoption of Visa Value Added Services, and other relevant commercial agreements with processors to grow Visa revenue and drive innovation.
  • Collaborate with global enabler teams to ensure sales teams are well educated and up to date on relevant products and services.
  • This position will have shared goals across enabler and product teams.
  • Foster in-depth and productive relationships at all levels with the client and the Visa organization.
  • Lead various ad-hoc internal projects as assigned.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

  • Business experience with related sales, product and management experience in the payments industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working at a 3DS provider or experience working with enablers, specifically working or partnership with 3DS / ACS providers.

Unique Knowledge And Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Enabler landscape.
  • Preferred candidate has either worked for or with enablers and is able to articulate experience with enablers and 3DS / ACS providers.
  • Knowledge of the processing environment, key players and market positions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish effective relationships across all levels of management.
  • Keen interest in innovation and technology.
  • Superior presentation skills.
  • Exceptional ability to manage & foster internal and external resources and cross-functional relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
