You will help shape and amplify the stories that showcase Visa's innovation, partnerships, expertise and impact on European businesses, consumers and economies. The role requires strong writing, judgement and delivery, with the ability to turn complex business, technology and industry topics into clear, compelling communications for multiple audiences. This is a Manager role with meaningful scope and exposure. The role offers an opportunity to build experience across multiple communications disciplines in a dynamic environment where priorities can evolve quickly. It is well suited to someone looking to deepen their communications craft, broaden their exposure to different markets and audiences, and gain hands-on experience on important reputation-building initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of integrated communications programmes that advance business priorities and strengthen Visa's reputation with multiple audiences.
  • Help build and amplify corporate narratives that reinforce Visa's position as a trusted technology leader and innovator in commerce and payments.
  • Identify and develop storytelling opportunities that showcase innovation, client partnerships, thought leadership, business impact and Visa's role in enabling the future of commerce.
  • Create high-quality communications assets, including messaging, briefing materials, media materials, executive communications, thought leadership content, presentations and digital content.
  • Translate complex business, technology and industry topics into clear, engaging and audience-relevant communications.
  • Partner with in-market Communications teams, Europe Communications and Global Communications colleagues to support aligned storytelling across markets and channels.
  • Support communications activity around strategic initiatives, launches, research, partnerships, executive visibility and reputation-building programmes.
  • Engage with an evolving communications ecosystem, including traditional media, digital channels, business and technology communities, and influential industry voices.
  • Monitor trends, audience interests and external conversations to identify timely storytelling opportunities and strengthen Visa's narrative.
  • Support issues management, reputation risk mitigation and communications preparedness activities as required.
  • Use measurement and insights to understand impact and improve future communications activity.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

  • Strong, proven storytelling, writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and develop compelling content for different audiences.
  • Experience supporting communications campaigns, announcements, thought leadership programmes or reputation-building initiatives.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders, teams and markets.
  • Experience working in a matrixed or cross-functional environment, ideally across different geographies, functions or business areas.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and workstreams at pace.
  • Good judgement, attention to detail and confidence in handling sensitive or complex information appropriately.
  • Understanding of traditional, digital media and influencer landscape, including how business and professional audiences consume information and engage with content.
  • Commercial awareness and interest in technology, innovation, payments and the role communications plays in shaping reputation and supporting business growth.
  • Proactive, curious and collaborative, with a willingness to learn, test new approaches and continuously develop communications expertise.
