Our graduate programme is an exciting 2‑year programme offering 2 x 1‑year rotations across our Finance teams. You will build your skillset, complete challenging work and gain experience to kick start your career at Visa. We are passionate about developing our colleagues and you will be given the opportunity to study for a professional qualification (CIMA, ACA or ACCA).
Finance is one of our Graduate Programmes here at Visa, being a Graduate at Visa also means belonging to a community of talents that are exposed to company‑wide training and engagement opportunities. All graduates start the programme in London but could have the opportunity to do their 2nd rotation in a continental office (working permit permitting) – Paris, Madrid, Milan, Frankfurt, Warsaw, Stockholm or Istanbul.

Candidates with foundational AI skills — or a strong willingness to develop them — will be well‑positioned to accelerate decision‑making, automate manual processes, and unlock insights from complex data. As AI tools become embedded across finance and beyond, early‑career professionals who understand how to apply these technologies in a governed, compliant way will be critical to driving innovation while managing risk. Day To Day Responsibilities
- Experience the day to day of our Deals team, participating in some of Visa’s negotiations with some of the biggest banks in the world.
- Work in our Pricing team helping us better price our product and services, understand strategic levers of pricing.
- Collaborate with our Treasury team to understand key drivers behind our Balance Sheet, cash flow and help build stress testing scenarios.
- Interpreting financial data to identify future business potential by working closely with senior leaders in Sales, Strategy or Marketing.
- Improve Visa’s financial performance by analyzing results and variances, identifying trends and recommending actions.
- Working with us in sourcing to optimise our large budget of investments, making sure we always invest in those activities and campaigns that give us higher returns.
- Joining the Tax team supporting them in the setting up of new legal entities.
- Develop deep technical expertise in financial data accuracy, integrity and consistency by working within the Controllership team.
Qualifications
- Less than 6 months of relevant work experience with either Bachelor's or Master's degree graduating December 2025 - August 2026.
- Ideally studied Economics, Finance, Business or STEM subject at University.
- Must be available to start working September 2026 – no early or late start dates to ensure a common onboarding experience and development opportunities.
- Permanent Authorization to work in the U.K is a precondition of employment for this position.
- Home Office sponsorship requirement mean that Visa will not be in a position to sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position. Future sponsorship will not be considered.
- Intern or placement year experience in finance or at a financial institution is desirable.
- Proactive, with experience of being a self-starter and has a willingness to learn.
- Passionate about technology and the payments industry.
- Ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
- Experience using MS Office tools such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Some knowledge of SQL, Python, R is not necessary, but welcome.
- Confident communication skills to be able to work with senior stakeholders.
