Job Description
Summary
The Lending team is responsible for developing a global Lending platform. Our goal is to have the best Lending platform in the global market, offering a range of functionalities adaptable to any market, while being user-friendly, robust, highly scalable, and resilient. Therefore, we work with best practices and strongly focus on quality to achieve these objectives.
What you\\\’ll do
- Development and maintenance of projects in Java using AWS services
- Participation in technical analysis with product team requirements
- Execution of Terraform to create/remove new resources on AWS
- Monitoring applications through logs/metrics using Grafana
- Database optimization, mainly DynamoDB
- Help in the collective decisions about our architecture
- Understand and build micro-service and event-driven architecture, and how to solve distributed transaction problems.
This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor\\\’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of development experience, with the majority of that time with Java
- Experience with AWS (certification is mandatory)
- Experience with Event-driven architectures
- Experience in designing architectural solutions
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
- Experience with testing (unit, integration, load)
Minimum Qualifications
