The Senior Manager of VAS Europe Sales and Commercial Operations is responsible for leading the implementation of effective sales and commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our business model across the region. The role involves developing and executing transformation projects to enhance Sales and Commercial Operations processes and working closely with regional Value-Added Services (VAS) and other functional leaders to implement systems and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Support pipeline reviews, updates, and VAS monthly AANR outlooks.
- Assist in quarterly and annual revenue and pipeline forecasting, collaborating with Sales Leadership and Finance.
- Support the Multi-Year Strategic Outlook (MSO).
- Participate in quota setting and coordinate with the compensation team to align plans and quotas, addressing queries as needed.
- Partner with Sales Operations Support to streamline operations and promote consistency and efficiency in the sales process.
- Assist in preparing for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) and Monthly Business Reviews (MBR).
- Track, report, and drive revenue acceleration through signed Not Live and Deal Performance analysis, aligning resolution plans with Sales and other functions.
- Support collections efforts in the region to improve cash flow.
- Engage in sales planning and territory management.
- Oversee AANR governance and ensure proper application of processes and policies.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and analysis for revenue-driving initiatives.
This position supports the global sales function of Visa\โs Value Added Services (VAS) organization, managing a revenue portfolio exceeding USD 8 billion. You will be part of a high-impact sales and commercial operations team dedicated to fostering Visa\โs growth.
This is a hybrid position, allowing employees to alternate between remote work and the office, with an expectation of working from the Paddington office in London at least three days a week, as determined by leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience, including significant financial management and strategic sales operations planning in a high-growth B2B environment.
- Bachelorโs degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build stakeholder relationships across complex, matrix organizations, including collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Product, Technology, and Customer Service teams.
- Results-oriented, organized, capable of managing multiple urgent tasks, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Proficiency in CRM (MSFT Dynamics), MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and Tableau.
- Knowledge of the electronic payments industry, products, services, and technologies is beneficial but not required.
- Interest and curiosity about the global financial system, FinTech, and innovative business models.
