As a Pre‑Sales Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering next‑generation solutions. As part of our global team, you will support all global growth initiatives, working hands‑on with governments, clients, partners, and internal teams to turn complex requirements into simple, scalable, and impactful payment solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Human‑Centred Solution Design: Apply design‑thinking and agile methodologies to co‑create solutions with government clients, focusing on desirability, viability, and feasibility.
- Lead discovery and co‑creation workshops to understand user journeys, citizen and government employee pain points, and opportunities for digital transformation.
- Work closely with Visa Product Design to prototype and iterate solutions, validating with real users and stakeholders.
- Design layered solutions that integrate the full range of Visa products and services within existing and new government capabilities.
- Ensure solutions are secure, inclusive, and interoperable, supporting financial inclusion and universal access.
- Demonstrate technical and commercial proficiency in key Visa payments products, platforms and services.
- Collaborate with client product, design and technology teams across governments and their private sector partners.
- Liaise with government, legal, risk, and privacy stakeholders to ensure solutions meet regulatory, compliance, and security requirements.
- Influence product development and prioritisation, advocating for features that deliver measurable citizen and government outcomes.
- Ensure seamless handover to client success management teams as solutions move from pre‑sales to implementation.
Thought Leadership: Champion the principles of desirability, viability, and feasibility in every solution, balancing citizen expectations, government mandates, and technical realities.
Stay current on global trends in digital identity, payments, GenAI, and citizen experience, bringing best practices and innovation to every engagement.

Experience:
- Experience in solution architecture, with a background in government, payments, digital identity, fraud prevention, or consulting.
- Proven experience applying design‑thinking and agile methodologies to product development and client engagements.
- Deep expertise in RESTful APIs, architecture patterns, service design, design systems, UX/UI research, mobile/web development, payment systems, digital identity frameworks, GenAI, and exposing legacy infrastructure.
- Experience in partnership development and pre‑sales and/or supplier management for complex, multi‑stakeholder solutions.
- Excellent client‑facing and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to translate technical and commercial concepts into clear, compelling user‑focused narratives.
