As the Director of B2B Risk Solutions, this role will be accountable for delivering product innovation across our risk product portfolio, driving new and existing client-facing solutions within the commercial / business-to-business (B2B) space. This role will help define the risk-related product roadmap, vision, and strategy, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market trends, and our Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market & Risk Expertise: Be/come the Subject Matter Expert for internal teams and external stakeholders, leading risk and identity-related market-facing initiatives and maintaining deep engagement with customers and market participants.
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Collaborate within the Risk and Identity Solutions (RaIS) team and with the Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) team to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for fraud risk and identity initiatives. Lead assessments for new opportunities, including strategic fit, investment requirements, and business case development.
- Solutions Development: Work with cross-functional teams to research, assess, and identify potential fraud risks related to international e-invoicing regulations, card and non-card-based B2B flows. Transform this knowledge into high-quality, customer-focused solution designs and detailed product requirements. Ensure builds meet requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
- Commercialization: Partner with VCS’s client solutions team to drive all aspects of product market introduction, including market analysis, competitive positioning, pricing strategy, sales enablement, and post-launch revenue optimization.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in product management roles, with a proven track record of launching and managing products.
- Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD).
- Ability to develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives, with strong emphasis on B2B and fraud risk solutions.
- Strong knowledge of AP/AR and e-invoicing solutions, with an understanding of the technology behind these products.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance. Strong presentation skills for internal and external audiences.
- Experience leading products in a matrixed environment and influencing cross-functional teams.
