At Monzo, our mission is to make money work for everyone, everywhere. We’re looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to help ship more and better payment product offerings. This is a high-impact role that demands both technical expertise and exceptional leadership to drive our ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of launching payment products that cross multiple teams and disciplines.
- Manage cross-collective programs: Define program roadmaps and milestones, set priorities, manage trade-offs, identify and manage critical path and risks, ensure alignment with the business goals and ambition.
- Collaborate and communicate with multiple stakeholders, both technical and non-technical across the business to ensure alignment and speed of delivery.
- Manage dependencies, timeline and sequencing of delivery.
- Drive effective decision making to remove blockers and speed up delivery.
- Ensure operational effectiveness across your collective/area.
- You have 5+ years of experience managing complex technology programs or products from inception to launch.
- You are able to communicate clearly and persuasively to a wide range of audiences, including executive leadership.
- You are comfortable in a global business with a presence in multiple markets and want to be a part of scaling this further.
- You can work effectively with a diverse range of people and working styles to get stuff done, and are able to thoughtfully and constructively challenge and influence the people you work with.
- You understand how functionality comes together (across products and platforms) to deliver value for users, and identify/mitigate delivery risks proactively; can propose and drive a technical solution.
- You are comfortable personally diving deep into the data and architecture to make good decisions in complex situations where there’s often no “right answer”.
