Tangible is a fast-growing, tech-driven platform providing liquidity solutions to LPs in the private markets.
We combine deep sector expertise with modern infrastructure to unlock liquidity across private equity, private credit, and real assets.
As we scale, we are looking for a
Marketing Operations Manager to build and manage the infrastructure that connects our marketing activity with sales.
This is a hands‑on role focused on making Hub Spot a powerful operating system for understanding contact engagement, identifying intent signals, delivering relevant nurture, and helping our sales team engage the right people at the right time.
This is not an inbound lead‑generation or MQL‑focused role.
The objective is to understand how contacts are engaging with Tangible over time — what they are reading, which campaigns they respond to, what they do on our website, and other relevant signals — so that we can identify increasing levels of interest and act quickly.
You will own the day-to-day marketing operations architecture in Hub Spot, while also managing nurture campaigns, marketing messaging and the operational side of content.
You will work closely with leadership and Sales to ensure our marketing activity generates useful signals and actionable intelligence, rather than simply producing more leads.
- Tasks
- Hub Spot & Marketing Operations
- Own and manage Tangible's Hub Spot marketing operations architecture.
- Build, maintain and optimise Hub Spot workflows, properties, lists, segmentation, campaigns and automation.
- Ensure Hub Spot is correctly structured to capture and connect engagement data across marketing channels.
- Develop robust processes for tracking contact engagement across email, website activity, content consumption, campaigns and other relevant touchpoints.
- Maintain data quality, contact lifecycle processes and the overall integrity of the marketing database.
- Identify opportunities to improve the way Hub Spot supports Marketing and Sales as the business scales.
- Ensure marketing activity is properly tracked and connected to the CRM so engagement can be understood at an individual contact level.
- Engagement Scoring & Intent Signals
- Build and continuously refine contact engagement scoring based on meaningful behavioural signals.
- Develop scoring models that help us understand when an existing contact is becoming more engaged or showing increased intent.
- Combine signals such as content engagement, website activity, email interactions, campaign participation and other relevant behaviours.
- Use scoring to help Sales identify who is becoming more engaged and who should be contacted sooner .
- Continuously test and refine scoring logic based on what actually proves useful to Sales.
- Clearly communicate engagement signals and changes in contact behaviour to the sales team.
- Ensure scoring is used as a prioritisation and intelligence tool, rather than simply as an inbound lead/MQL qualification model.
- Nurture & Marketing Automation
- Design, build and manage nurture programmes in Hub Spot.
- Develop segmented nurture journeys based on audience, interests, engagement and stage of relationship.
- Manage the messaging, sequencing and logic behind automated campaigns.
- Test subject lines, messaging, timing, segmentation and calls to action to improve engagement.
- Identify opportunities to move contacts between different nurture journeys based on their behaviour.
- Monitor campaign performance and continuously optimise programmes based on engagement and commercial outcomes.
- Messaging & Sales Enablement
- Work closely with Sales to understand the messaging and information they need to engage prospects effectively.
- Develop and manage marketing messaging for nurture campaigns, email campaigns and other targeted communications.
- Support Sales with relevant outreach messaging, follow-ups, campaign assets and other enablement materials.
- Use engagement data and audience behaviour to inform messaging and help Sales personalise outreach.
- Help Sales understand how to interpret and act on engagement signals coming from Hub Spot.
- Identify content and messaging that can support specific sales conversations and commercial priorities.
- Content Operations
Content is not the primary responsibility of this role. Instead, you will ensure that Tangible's content is properly integrated into our marketing operations infrastructure.
- Ensure content assets, reports, newsletters and other marketing activity are properly connected to Hub Spot.
- Make sure content engagement can be tracked at the contact level and incorporated into relevant segmentation and scoring.
- Work with the wider team to ensure campaigns and content launches are set up correctly from an operational perspective.
- Identify opportunities to use existing content within nurture programmes and sales journeys.
- Report on which content is generating meaningful engagement and signals of interest.
- Reporting & Optimisation
- Build clear reporting around contact engagement, campaign performance, nurture activity and sales signals.
- Provide leadership and Sales with actionable insight rather than vanity metrics.
- Identify patterns in contact behaviour and engagement that can inform marketing and sales activity.
- Measure the effectiveness of nurture programmes, scoring models and marketing campaigns.
- Continuously improve the marketing operations infrastructure based on data, feedback and commercial outcomes.
- Strategic Collaboration
- Work closely with leadership and Sales to align marketing operations with commercial priorities.
- Partner with Sales to ensure engagement signals are genuinely useful in day-to-day prospecting and relationship management.
- Help establish the processes and infrastructure required as Tangible's marketing and sales activity scales.
- Act as the internal owner and subject-matter expert for Hub Spot marketing operations.
Requirements
3–6 years' experience in marketing operations, marketing automation, CRM, lifecycle marketing or a closely related B2B marketing role.
Strong hands‑on experience implementing and managing Hub Spot architecture. This is a must-have.
- Demonstrable experience building and managing Hub Spot workflows, properties, lists, segmentation, campaigns and automation.
- Experience designing and managing engagement or behavioural scoring models .
- A strong understanding of how behavioural signals can be used to prioritise contacts and improve Sales engagement.
- Experience building and optimising nurture campaigns and automated customer/prospect journeys.
- Comfortable working across Marketing and Sales and translating commercial requirements into practical marketing-operations solutions.
- Strong understanding of contact data, segmentation, lifecycle management and CRM hygiene.
- Able to analyse engagement data and turn it into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong copywriting and messaging skills, particularly for B2B audiences and nurture campaigns.
- Commercially minded, with an understanding that marketing operations should ultimately help Sales have better conversations with the right people.
- Highly organised, analytical and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable owning the function independently and building processes from the ground up.
- Experience in private markets, PE/VC, financial services or another complex B2B environment is preferred.
- What You'll Own
This is a hands‑on role with genuine ownership.
You will be responsible for making sure Tangible's marketing infrastructure works properly — from the underlying Hub Spot architecture through to scoring, segmentation, nurture and the signals delivered to Sales.
The ideal person is someone who enjoys building systems, understanding how people behave, and turning data into action.
You should be equally comfortable getting deep into a Hub Spot workflow and working with Sales on how a particular engagement signal should change their approach.
You will have the opportunity to build the marketing operations function as Tangible scales, with significant ownership over the systems, processes and programmes that connect marketing activity to revenue.
