What will you be doing?

As a Corporate Account Executive, Public Sector, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across government, healthcare, education, and other public sector organisations.

You will manage the full sales cycle while building trusted relationships with procurement, business, and technical stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Creating, validating, and executing a territory plan that outlines how you will achieve your revenue targets and expand Ave Point's presence within the public sector.
  • Driving new logo acquisition and developing strategic opportunities within assigned public sector accounts.
  • Building and managing sales opportunities through public procurement frameworks, tenders, direct awards, and partner-led routes to market.
  • Managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, including procurement teams, IT leadership, information governance, security, records management, and executive sponsors.
  • Positioning Ave Point's platform solutions to address public sector priorities around digital transformation, cyber resilience, AI adoption, compliance, and modern workplace initiatives.
  • Delivering compelling presentations, workshops, and business value discussions that demonstrate measurable outcomes and return on investment.
  • Partnering closely with pre-sales, customer success, marketing, channel partners, and leadership teams to win new business.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with framework providers, resellers, system integrators, and strategic alliance partners.
  • Attending virtual and face-to-face meetings, industry events, conferences, and customer engagements.
  • Executing targeted account-based and territory-based campaigns to maximise awareness and pipeline generation.
  • Maintaining an accurate and current pipeline, forecast, and account strategy within CRM systems.

  • Understanding of public procurement processes, framework agreements, and tendering environments.
  • Experience engaging with both executive and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and listening skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate and close new business opportunities.
  • A consultative and value-based sales approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex opportunities simultaneously.
  • Experience forecasting and managing pipeline in CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with annual contract value (ACV)-based targets and quota attainment.
  • Experience working effectively with channel partners and alliance ecosystems.
