We are looking for an experienced CRM Manager to be responsible for owning and driving the retention marketing programme that creates incremental bottom-line growth for our VCARB Team.
They will be in charge of helping the Marketing Team deliver, measure & optimise all campaign activity, while creating best-in-class fan journeys and delivering superb customer experience.
All the responsibilities we’ll trust you with:
CRM Management
Plan, create and optimise CRM campaigns in conjunction with overall strategy, finding the perfect balance between engaging with fans, retaining them and achieving our growth and commercial goals. Find ways to grow the known CRM audience. Manage workload and stakeholder relationships with wider Marketing team (Content, Social, Communications, Brand, VCARB Relations and Partnerships) to ensure CRM calendar is balanced and with the fans’ best interests at heart. Manage the VCARB loyalty programme updates (The Fanzone), with focus on new content streams, innovating new engagement strategies and supporting the acquisition efforts. Compile quarterly competitor analysis of best-practice CRM campaigns from sports and entertainment industry.
Professionalism
Work closely with the Web & Content team to create and execute engaging multi-channel campaigns that drive acquisition and retention while minimising churn. Produce high quality and timely campaigns that are fan-centric, innovative and relevant. Compiling weekly and monthly campaign reporting and analysis, confidently dissecting the data and providing recommendations and key takeaways for optimisation through test and learn methodologies. Establish and develop excellent working practices and processes with core stakeholders (Legal & Compliance, Copywriters, Brand Team etc.). Input into weekly and monthly testing strategy set by Head of Digital Media.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- At least 5 years’ experience in the development and implementation of a successful CRM strategy, with back-end system knowledge.
- Built successful acquisition, retention and fan loyalty programmes whilst being familiar with working in a B2C subscription-based business.
- Experience using CRM platforms, working on an end-to-end basis, execution through to developing and owning analytics.
- Detailed and thorough understanding of legal compliance relating to GDPR, data privacy and security.
- Exceptional attention-to-detail.
- Very strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to mobilise others.
- Extremely organised with a passion to drive optimisation through insights and data.
- Proactive attitude and committed interest to the Team’s objectives.
- Self-starter who can take initiative.
- Data-focused and Return On Investment driven.
- Confident in communicating and presenting with core stakeholders across the business.
