We are looking for a motivated Junior Stress Engineer. In this role you will ensure reliable modelling and stress analysis of car components. You will be required to build FE models compliant with the related procedure and create clear Stress Reports of the analysis.
STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS & STRESS SUPPORTPerform the stress analyses (FE, Hand-calculations, etc.) required for the design of car components under the guidance of a Senior Stress Engineer releasing clear documentation of the analysis performed (Stress Report). Support the Team Leader in damage and defect investigations. Proactive approach with respect to the current calculation methods used for the sizing of car components. Perform structural analysis compliant with the defined Analysis Procedure.

In line with pay transparency regulations (Legislative Decree 96/2026), the minimum fixed salary for this role is the contractual minimum set by the National Collective Labour Agreement for the Metalworking Industry (Federmeccanica/Assistal) for classification level C3. We specify that the above mentioned level is a minimum threshold and does not correspond to the overall compensation package, which is determined by objective, measurable and gender-neutral criteria, being significantly higher than the contractual minimum indicated.
Experience- Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering master’s degree.
- Understanding of carbon and metal structures at academic level.
- Strong knowledge of theory behind FEA.
- Usage and knowledge of FE pre/processing (Altair Hypermesh/Optistruct, Abaqus).
- Basic knowledge of CAD system (NX is a plus).
- Knowledge of current manufacturing processes and material science.
- Ability to work with the team and colleagues.
