We are looking for an experienced Commercial Analyst to be responsible for standing Visa Cash App Racing Bulls (VCARB) apart from our competition through contributing to data-driven, industry-leading marketing partnerships, making our team the envy of the global sponsorship industry, and analyzing market trends sales data, and customer insights to support strategic decision-making and bespoke sales proposals to consumer and enterprise prospects.
They will optimize our commercial strategies, enhance revenue generation, and strengthen our brand presence in the highly competitive sports sponsorship environment.
Responsibilities
Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the commercial landscape of Formula One.
- Monitor competitor performance and market positioning to provide actionable insights.
Sales Performance Monitoring
- Track and analyze sales data across various channels and sponsor partnerships to assess performance against KPIs.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for stakeholders detailing sales performance, forecasts, and areas for improvement.
Financial Modeling & Forecasting
- Develop and maintain financial models to support revenue forecasting, pricing strategies, and sponsorship valuations.
- Assess the financial implications of strategic initiatives.
Client & Partner Support
- Provide analytical support for client proposals and presentations, ensuring data-driven insights enhance negotiations and client relations.
- Assist in developing tailored sales materials that effectively communicate our value proposition to potential sponsors
- Support case study creation by tracking current partner asset performance.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with other departments, including Marketing, Finance, and Operations, to align commercial strategies and objectives. Participate in cross-functional meetings to share findings and drive collaborative decision-making.
Experience needed
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Mathematics or a related field.
- Strong ability to interpret complex datasets and draw actionable conclusions from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Meticulous attention to detail in data analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and convincingly.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Experience with data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar) and CRM systems.
- Understanding of commercial strategy, sales processes, and market dynamics within sports sponsorships and events.
- Relish working in a fast paced environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- A team-first, collaborative and solution orientated approach.
- High enthusiasm with a real passion for data analysis and their work.
