We are currently looking for an experienced CAD-PLM Specialist to be responsible for the management, development and continuous improvement of the Company’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) infrastructure. The role supports engineering and manufacturing processes by ensuring the PLM platform is reliable, efficient, and aligned with business needs. Further, they will also provide user support, ensuring effective adoption and usage of the PLM and CAD systems across departments.

  • CAD-PLM System Management & Development
    • Manage and maintain the existing PLM-CAD system, ensuring stability and performance;
    • Develop and enhance PLM-CAD functionalities in line with business requirements;
    • Configure workflows, data structures, and integrations with other enterprise systems (e.g. ERP, internal Materials DB, …);
    • Support system upgrades, testing, and deployments;
    • Ensure data integrity, governance, and best practices within the PLM environment.
  • User Support & Training
    • Provide day-to-day support to CAD-PLM users across engineering and other departments;
    • Troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution;
    • Track and update issues in the dedicated internal support portal;
    • Deliver user training and create documentation and guidelines;
    • Promote best practices and efficient system usage.
  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
    • Work closely with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams;
    • Gather requirements and translate them into system improvements;
    • Identify opportunities to optimize processes through whole PLM infrastructure;
    • Escalate issues to the PLM Project Manager and to the software supplier as necessary;
    • Collaborate with IT Teams for integration and infrastructure alignment.

In line with pay transparency regulations (Legislative Decree 96/2026), the minimum fixed salary for this role is the contractual minimum set by the National Collective Labour Agreement for the Metalworking Industry (Federmeccanica/Assistal) for classification level C3. We specify that the above mentioned level is a minimum threshold and does not correspond to the overall compensation package, which is determined by objective, measurable and gender-neutral criteria, being significantly higher than the contractual minimum indicated.

Experience

  • Extensive experience in complex PLM installations or similar roles;
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle processes;
  • Experience in CAD and PLM configuration and development;
  • Good knowledge of engineering environments (Product Release, BoM management, Data Management and Exchange…);
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Experience with Siemens Software PLM solutions (e.g.: Teamcenter and NX);
  • Experience in motorsport, automotive, or manufacturing environments;
  • Basic knowledge of scripting or programming;
  • Understanding of system integrations (API, middleware).
