Overview
In this role you will lead mobile QA efforts for award-winning apps, shaping robust automation on Espresso (Android) and XCUITest (iOS). You will drive automated testing integration into CI, contribute to test strategy, and help ensure regression readiness across multiple backends. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to inject testing earlier in the SDLC using mocking strategies and scalable test scripts. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position at the core of quality and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable automated test scripts across mobile apps
- Contribute to CI integration to catch issues during development
- Participate in PR reviews and drive toward 100% regression automation readiness
- Define and execute test strategies, improving QA delivery and processes
- Collaborate with development teams to implement early testing via mocking
- Prioritize multiple concurrent tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Perform regression testing to validate new enhancements do not affect existing functionality
- Continuously improve QA practices and testing standards
Key requirements
- 7+ years of technical experience
- Bachelor's or Master's in Science (preferred CS/Engineering)
- Hands-on testing on iOS and Android platforms
- 3+ years of mobile automation experience with tools like Monkey Talk, Selendroid, Appium, Katalon
- Deep knowledge of Functional, Integration, Regression, Exploratory, End-to-End, GUI, Web Services and Accessibility testing
- Proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, or similar languages
- Strong API testing experience (Postman, IntelliJ Http Client)
- Experience with debugging tools (Charles Proxy, Splunk, Sentry, Console)
