We are seeking a high-caliber Enterprise Data Platform Lead & SAP Supply Chain Reporting Product Owner to drive the strategy, design, and execution of our enterprise-scale reporting and analytics landscapes. In this dual-capability role, you will champion the design and governance of our Common Data Layer (CDL) on Azure Databricks while leading end-to-end data product delivery across global Supply Chain workstreams (including Quality, MAKE, Inventory, and Planning). The ideal candidate bridges the gap between deep technical data engineering and core SAP functional processes to deliver actionable, enterprise-grade business insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Architecture & CDL Governance: Design, implement, and govern the enterprise Common Data Layer (CDL) on Azure Databricks using Delta Lake and L0–L1–L2 architectures. Establish data quality frameworks, schema evolution standards, and deduplication logic.
  • Pipeline & Integration Engineering: Oversee the creation of scalable ETL pipelines in Azure Data Factory (ADF), utilizing the SAP CDC Connector and ODP framework to ingest data from S/4HANA (CDS views) and BW cubes into the ingestion layers.
  • Digital Product Ownership: Lead end-to-end reporting development cycles using Agile methodologies. Define product roadmaps, translate complex business needs into Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), manage JIRA backlogs, and lead Hypercare/UAT phases.
  • Supply Chain Analytics Delivery: Partner with global cross-functional workstreams to source, curate, and profile data from S/4HANA tables. Build and optimize data models supporting Order-to-Cash (OTC), Sales, Inventory, and S&OP planning.
  • BI Visualisation: Direct the transformation and connection of Azure Databricks data assets into robust, secure, and intuitive Power BI dashboards.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and SQL querying.
  • SAP Ecosystem: Deep data discovery skills within SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/HANA, ODP/ODQ frameworks, and APO (DP/SNP).
  • BI Tools: Strong capability in Power BI dashboard design, data modeling, and data access control management (e.g., PowerApps).
  • Domain Knowledge: Profound understanding of Supply Chain processes (Quality, Warehouse, Inventory, Production Planning) and core SAP SD / Order-to-Cash (OTC) workflows.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of experience in enterprise data platforms, with a proven track record in regulated or fast-moving industries (e.g., Consumer Goods, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices) operating within GxP-compliant frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to align regional/global workstream leaders, data engineering teams, and executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline is required.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Management, Systems, Sales or Marketing is preferred.
  • Prior hands-on experience as an SAP SD Functional Consultant in the Pharma industry is required.
  • 10+ years of work experience in Supply Chain workstreams (including Quality, MAKE, Inventory, and Planning) is mandatory.
